SLV Regional Medical Center
San Luis Valley Regional Medical Center, a fully integrated healthcare facility, is the second largest employer in the San Luis Valley staffing approximately 500 people. In its 85 years of serving the Valley, SLVRMC has gone through many changes. From its roots as a hospital, it has now expanded to providing specialty and primary care physician services as well as a full range of ancillary and outpatient services.
The 49 bed hospital is staffed 24/7 with hospitalists in house to provide immediate and constant patient care. Our talented team of medical providers and ancillary staff take pride in caring for our neighbors, family and friends in the San Luis Valley with the same quality care you’d find in urban areas. SLVRMC provides the only OB services in the San Luis Valley delivering over 600 babies a year.
Recently added services allow patients to stay close to home for specialized care that previously required travel out of the Valley, including: oncology/infusion, cardiology and cardiac rehab and the Stephanie L. Miner Women’s Imaging Center that now offers digital mammography.
SLVRMC Physician Services provides outpatient services in primary and specialty care including family practice, internal medicine, cardiology, general surgery, outpatient surgery, ob/gynecology, pediatrics, ENT, allergy, and audiology, behavioral health, orthopedics and orthopedic surgery. PRO Therapy provides comprehensive therapies, including physical, occupational, speech, cardiac rehab, women’s health therapies, and sports medicine, as well as chiropractics. Our ROMP clinic provides Workman’s Comp. and physical medicine services.
SLVRMC is an affiliate of Centura Health and through this partnership, San Luis Valley patients have seamless access to critical care unavailable in our rural area such as cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, or high level trauma services, to name a few.
